Job Spec: Reporting to the Operations Manager - the works manager will be responsible producing, designs, engineering and manufacturing of standard and bespoke MCC,s and control systems along with the necessary schematic drawings and bills of materials. Also required to maintain premises to high standards and hire fleet. Experience You will be commercially aware and have a strong engineering background in both technical design and manufacture of control panels. You will gain experience for various industry sectors such as, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, paper and pulp, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, Water and Mining and Aggregate Companies. Ideally you will be qualified to degree level or hold HNC/ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Have good working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar PC operated drawing package. Microsoft Based software product knowledge is essential. Working Knowledge of PLC, Soft Start and Variable Speed Drives, Instrumentation and 4 -20mA Control would be an advantage. IOSH Managing Safely Certificated Quality and Environmental Certificate levels 2 ILM Managers Certificate Excellent Communication skills are vital in this role, along with the natural aptitude of representing the Company in a professional and effective manner.
