My client based in the North East are a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of Compressed Air Breathing Equipment Technology and Gas Detection Equipment.
They are looking for a Sales Office Manager who will manage the Internal Domestic Sales organisation ensuring the internal sales functions provide excellent support and contact to both customers, and the External Sales force. An important part of the management team this role is also involved with the development of sales and marketing strategies.
Job Objective:
•Distributing and organising of the workload between all customer services staff.
•Effectively time manage the customer services staff.
•Ensure the customer services team are motivated.
•Monitoring the quality and quantity of the customer contact (written, verbal, email etc.) from the UK sales office.
•Monitoring the quality of the order paperwork from the internal sales team.
•Working with the whole sales team to communicate technical, commercial, applications and competitor information within the sales team to optimise market awareness.
•Providing sales support to Regional Sales Managers and the UK Sales Managers where necessary
•Liasing with accounts to ensure customer queries are cleared up quickly and unnecessary credits are kept to a minimum. Providing advice for customer services on acceptability of orders where necessary.
•Participating in management team to contribute to marketing and sales activity.
•Updating of CRM system.
