Experienced Electrical Design Engineer £25,000 - £35,000
Experienced Mechanical Design Engineers upto £30,000
Graduate Design Engineers £20,000 - £24,000

Reporting to the Chief Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer:
Production of design drawings
Embodiment of design features to create final engineering drawings and bill of materials
Purchase Ordering as appropriate
Receiving parts and ensuring fit for purpose
Supervision of assembly and testing of completing machines


It is expected that applicants will be a Graduate Electrical Engineer with a period of practical design experience using CAD software. The job will involve personal responsibility for managing engineering development projects from concept, through design, manufacturing and trials, to eventual delivery of the product or service to the customer. Initially a requirement to design and specify an electrical umbilical system with transformers / power distribution interface is required.

Skills in Solid Works or alternative is required and there will be a simple test for my clients to measure candidate capability.

Ideally a Marine / ROV / Inverter background with some power electronics experience and understanding of a CANbus system or similar to communicate and drive our mechanical tractor.

We will consider all forms of labour, from contractors through to Temp Perm / Full Perm. It is my clients intention to grow over the coming years and they would wish to retain good talent and these projects allow both my client plus the candidate to ensure there is a mutually beneficial fit.
